More Info
This poster by C. Kondiah Raju vividly captures the divine wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, set within the opulence of a grand palace. The deities, resplendent in traditional attire and adorned with jewelry and garlands, stand with serene grace. Lord Vishnu, depicted with four arms, assumes the role of the bride’s brother, ceremonially offering Parvati’s hand to Shiva. Radiant halos and a shower of flower petals heighten the sanctity of the scene.
S.S. Arunachalam Chettiar & Bros, established in 1927 in Madras, originally operated as a jewellery firm.
