The poster features a Click-III camera graphic, promoting a photography competition with a Rs. 10,000 prize and the message: " Start clicking today and send us your entries before December 31, 1967." The Click-III was a popular model, was launched in 1966.
Agfa, founded in 1867 as a dye factory in Berlin, began manufacturing cameras around 1920. In 1936, it introduced colour photography with Agfacolor Neu. It later pioneered automatic 35mm cameras with the Optima Series (1959–1962), which sold over a million units. Agfa India Limited entered the Indian market in 1964.
