Barsaat (1949) is a Hindi romantic drama directed and produced by Raj Kapoor. It stars Raj Kapoor as Pran, a sensitive poet, and Nargis as Reshma, a village girl. The story contrasts Pran’s sincere love with the carefree Gopal (Prem Nath) and his brief affair with Neela (Nimmi). Set in Kashmir, the film explores love, heartbreak, and societal challenges.
