Kale Khan Mohammad Beedi was established in 1930 by Kale Khan in Sagar, Central Province (now Madhya Pradesh). It later operated as a partnership firm under the name Messrs Kale Khan Mohammad Hanif. By the 1950s, the firm had become a prominent bidi manufacturer, with branches across Madhya Pradesh.
