More Info

This poster by E.V. Hove features three children: promoting the purchase of Hollandia condensed milk. Hollandia was founded in 1870 by Constant Hendrik Hummelinck. After bankruptcy in 1881, it was acquired and renamed NV Hollandia. By 1890, it was exporting dairy products to Switzerland and France. In 1929, it partnered with Nestlé, relocating condensed milk production to Bolsward. The company moved its headquarters to Amsterdam in 1971, and its Vlaardingen site became Cultural Centre 'Hollandia' from 1977 to 2014.
