Sapar Brothers, an art studio founded in the 1950s–60s in Sholapur, Maharashtra, was established by Vishnu Sapar and his brother Bharat Sapar. Initially a mill worker and textile designer at Lakshmi Vishnu Mills, Vishnu later collaborated with Bharat to create calendar art for the Sivakasi printing industry. Vishnu’s son Venkatesh and his wife Maya, both graduates of J.J. School of Arts, later joined the business, expanding its reach by producing calendars for English and Bengali markets, greeting cards for major cities, and illustrating a Bhagavad Gita edition published by the Self Realization Centre in California.

The poster depicts Goddess Lakshmi, adorned with a crown and jewellery, seated with coins, sweets, a kalash, a lit diya, sacred books, and lotuses. In the background is a decorated elephant with a garland, Lord Vishnu holding a disk and a lotus, and a female deity with a kalash emerging from the churning of the ocean.
