More Info

Main Aur Mera Bhai (1961) is a Hindi family drama directed by Dharam Kumar. It tells the story of twin brothers, Ramesh and Rajesh, sons of retired judge Jagt Narayan, who can only be distinguished by their mother. While Ramesh is sincere and disciplined, Rajesh is mischievous and reckless. Their differences lead to tragedy when Rajesh’s actions cause their father’s death, and complications arise as both brothers fall for the same woman, Asha (played by Ameeta).

The conflict escalates when Rajesh commits a murder, and Ramesh is falsely implicated and arrested. The film delves into themes of mistaken identity, justice, and family loyalty, portraying the struggles and sacrifices within a fractured household. Supported by C. Arjun’s music and strong performances, Main Aur Mera Bhai is a compelling story of brotherhood and redemption.
