More Info
This die-cut calendar features a chubby baby with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing white garments adorned with small crosses. The baby is positioned on a surface, with the calendar visible in the lower left corner, and the text "Who said Mellin's Food?" displayed. Mellin’s Food was created in 1866 by English chemist Gustav Mellin and debuted in the U.S. in 1874 through Theodore Metcalf & Co., a Boston-based pharmaceutical company. By 1877, the food formula was regularly supplied in Europe and North America, and by 1890, it had become a popular milk powder developed in England and manufactured in Boston, with availability in India as well.
