Meri Behan (1962) is a Hindi-language film directed by A. S. A. Swami, starring M. G. Ramachandran (MGR) and Padmini, produced by M.C.L’s and released by Movie Guild. A dubbed version of the Tamil film Arasilangkumari (1961), the story is set in a royal kingdom where a brave prince (MGR) stands against treachery and tyranny. His love for justice is matched by his deep bond with his sister, who becomes a target of palace conspiracies. As political intrigue unfolds, the prince must fight enemies both within and outside the court to protect his sister's honor and restore peace to the realm.

Padmini plays a strong female lead who supports the prince in his struggle, adding emotional and moral strength to the story. The film blends action, drama, and sibling devotion, with a focus on themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and righteousness. The music, composed by Dhaniram with lyrics by Pandit Indra, includes standout songs like “Nanhe Munne” sung by Mukesh. Released on January 1, 1962, Meri Behan is remembered for its royal drama, stirring performances, and melodious soundtrack.
