Jivaji Bikaji Dikshit (1907–1995), also known as J.B. Dikshit, was a prominent painter known for portraits of saints and religious figures. He was a graduate of the J.J. School of Arts, Bombay, and completed his art course in 1932. He also directed the creation of film posters for Prabhat Films such as Amar Jyoti, Kunku, Gopal Krishna, and Manoos. His artworks were published in Y.G. Joshi’s magazine Prasad. His portraits were of religious figures such as Sant Dnyaneshwar, Samarth Ramdas, Swami Vivekananda, and Sant Tukaram.

It established manufacturing units for Modi Torch and Lantern, Modi Soap, Modi Paint & Varnish, Modi Vanaspati, Modi Gas, Modi Steel, and Modi Distillery, contributing significantly to India's economy.
