This calendar features King George VI and Queen Elizabeth at their coronation in 1937, depicting them in their regal coronation robes and crowns. Seated on thrones against a backdrop reminiscent of Westminster Abbey, King George VI holds the Sovereign's Sceptre, while Queen Elizabeth’s hands rest gently in her lap. Their majestic robes, adorned with intricate embroidery and trimmed with ermine, cascade elegantly to the floor. The image commemorates a pivotal moment in British history, marking King George VI’s ascension and the beginning of their reign. The throne is framed with an ornate border, and the company’s label is displayed in the bottom right corner.
Ovaltine, a malted milk brand, traces its origins to Dr. Albert Wander’s 1904 invention of milk powder. Originally called Ovomaltine in Switzerland, it is marketed worldwide under the name Ovaltine. In India, Ovaltine was introduced by British American Food (BAF) in the 1920s, along with bakery products and other branded essentials.
