This poster features P.C. Sorcar, the "Maharaja of Magic," wearing a jeweled turban and headband.
Born in 1913 in Tangail (now Bangladesh), Sorcar created the unique Ind-Dra-Jal style of magic. He toured over 70 countries, including the U.S. and Soviet Union, earning international acclaim for his illusions. Sorcar was awarded the Padma Shri in 1964.
