More Info
The poster features a young lady wearing a hat, with a graceful smile, holding a glass of Vimto. The tagline "Britain's Best Beverage" is displayed at the bottom.
Vimto was first introduced in 1908 by John Noel Nichols as "Vimtonic," a herbal tonic designed to provide "Vim and Vigour." In 1919, the brand expanded internationally, registering in British Guyana. The fizzy version, "Sparkling Vimto," was launched in 1920, further increasing its popularity. By 1924, Vimto entered the Indian market, where it quickly became a beloved beverage among locals.
