The poster showcases a photographic image of the Taj Mahal in Agra, surrounded by a lush green landscape. Visitors are seen admiring its beauty along a pathway flanked by reflecting pools. The tagline above reads, "Along the way of TWA."
Trans World Airlines (TWA) was established in 1930 through the merger of Transcontinental Air Transport and Western Air Express. In 1934, aviator and businessman Howard Hughes invested in the airline, expanding its fleet with 18 Boeing aircraft and 30 Convair 880s. Despite efforts to sustain operations, TWA declared bankruptcy in 1960 and struggled to recover, ultimately ceasing operations.
TWA started flying to Bombay (now Mumbai) from January 8th, 1947.
