More Info
This calendar features a vibrant illustration of Lord Krishna and Arjuna in a chariot, inspired by the Hindu epic Mahabharata. Arjuna is seen pointing ahead towards Krishna, with the chariot being drawn by four horses, and a procession of people in the background, adding to the grandeur of the scene.
The British Alizarine Co. Ltd., established on December 14, 1882, was a specialized dye-making company initially based in London before relocating to Trafford Park near Manchester. In 1931, it was acquired by Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI), which continued to use the company's name until 1940. The company’s products were distributed by Wilson Latham & Co. Ltd., a prominent British trading firm established in Bombay during the colonial period.
