More Info

This poster of Crown brand Aluminum Utensils highlights the company's history and its dedication to providing high-quality aluminum products. A variety of utensils are depicted in a stacked arrangement, showcasing the range of products available.

Established in 1912 by Jeewan Lal Motichand Shah in Calcutta, Crown Utensils initially operated as a dealer of aluminum products. Over time, the company expanded and set up an aluminum utensils factory under the name Jeewan Lal & Company. By 1917, the company had established a large manufacturing facility in Belur, which became a key hub for production. The Crown brand gained recognition for its durable aluminum utensils, including teapots, containers, and other household items. Jeewan Lal Motichand Shah was also known for his association with Mahatma Gandhi, creating a link between the company and the Indian independence movement.
