Tata Oil Mills Company (TOMCO), established in 1917, produced soaps, detergents, and cooking oils, becoming a trusted household name in India. Its products were especially known for their natural and skin-friendly properties. In 1994, TOMCO was acquired by Hindustan Lever, marking a major consolidation in the Indian consumer goods sector.
