The poster displays the company's logo. Originally established in London in 1760 as flax dressers and thread manufacturers for shoemakers, the company was founded by Francis Ullathorne and later managed by four of his sons. Over the years, it expanded with branches in Paris, London, and Melbourne. By 1866, the company had begun importing a variety of leather products and tannery supplies. By 1901, the Melbourne branch operated under the name Ullathorne and Hartridge.
