More Info

The poster showcases West End Sowar Prima Watches, emphasising their durability with the tagline "Keeps Perfect Time. However violently used." A gold-toned and a silver-toned model are prominently displayed at the upper centre beneath a W logo within a six-pointed star. Below, "two male figures- a hockey player and a cricketer"- demonstrate the watch's toughness under vigorous use.

West End Watch Co. began its journey in 1864 in St. Imier, Switzerland, and officially launched in India in 1886. The Sowar sub-brand, registered in 1917, became renowned for durable, waterproof watches and a trusted supplier to the Indian Railways, civil services, and the British Indian Army, with over 50,000 watches issued during World War I.
