More Info
The poster features a watch at its center, with the company's logo in the upper left corner, highlighting its legacy of precision.
West End Watch Co. began its journey in 1864 with the founding of Droz and Perret in St. Imier, Switzerland. By 1884, Alcide Droz & Fils partnered with Arnold Charpie to import Swiss watches to Bombay, India. After Charpie's retirement in 1886, the firm took full control and rebranded the Bombay office as West End Watch Co. officially launching the brand in India. Known for durable, waterproof watches, it became a trusted supplier to the Indian Railways, civil services, and British Indian Army. During World War 1, over 50,000 West End watches were used by troops, cementing its legacy across the subcontinent.
